I left my heart in Africa.

I’m pretty sure many of you have heard this saying. I don’t know why, but there’s just something about Africa.

My recent trip to Kenya was so incredibly humbling, to say the least. Despite the sickness, disease, and hunger, the children there were so beautiful and inspiring at the same time. I am so blessed that these people have let me into their lives, allowing me to learn from them and teaching me to be happy for both small and big things, to trust and be hopeful. It’s amazing to see how faithful they are in the Lord, regardless of their situation, because they know that God moves mountains.

I miss it so much.

You better get ready Africa, because one day, I’ll be back for you.

You mean SpikyEaredPichu? Sorry, would love to but I’ve been using this URL since forever and I use it for EVERYTHING… from Tumblr to Hotmail to Skype. I would be lost if I needed to come up with a new one. :/
